At Yummy Beauty, we are passionate about redefining skincare for African women by blending the richness of Kenyan superfood oils with the transformative power of Korean skincare science. From acne-prone to sensitive and melanin-rich skin, our mission is to provide high-quality, affordable skincare products that empower women to feel confident and radiant every day.

Our journey started with my personal quest for glowing, healthy skin. I never really struggled with my skin until I started working out in my early 30s. A friend said it was the testosterone boost that was introducing me to acne. Still, it wasn’t that bad until I got pregnant in 2014 and then even my siblings were laughing at me.

In 2018, my son was 3 but still the postpartum acne persisted.  Randomly, a YouTube video introduced me to the Korean 10 step routine and my skin finally cleared up in 2 short weeks.  I was hooked… and so curious, what misinformation had I absorbed all these years? How could these super pricey products be made more accessible for Africans? Are there considerations to be made for melanin rich skin? I also noticed that the high-end products boast of baobab, castor, avocado and macadamia oils, all of which are grown in Kenya…it got me thinking… got me researching … got me formulating and testing… it is now 2024 and I am excited to introduce you to Yummy Beauty….
